Upon arriving on scene rescue personnel  found a pickup truck on the side of the road on all 4 wheels in a snow drift with a male trapped under. Asst. 14-1 remained on scene with Company 39 until released by PSP at approximately 1730 hrs.  Thanks to all involved --considering the location, weather conditions, poor radio communication and extent of entrapment things went well. It was the first use of the new airbags which had been placed into service only four days before and had replaced ones on the rescue for more than two decades.
